We will celebrate Bealtaine on May 1st at 5pm. We will light the Bealtaine fires, decorate the Bealtaine Bush, make offerings and eat (and probably sing a bit too). The celebration will take place at a Tribe member’s home in Wallingford, PA. RSVP’s must be given before April 26th.
We will also be having some visitors from a local university who are doing a project on modern religious expressions.
Everyone should bring place setting (utensils, cups, bowls, dishes) for yourself and each person you are bringing with you (this cuts down on trash), a dried fruit for the hasty pudding – please bring native North American Fruits – apples, raisins, prunes, peaches, apricots, cranberries, cherries etc. (i.e. no banana, papaya, pineapple and such) and some wood/kindling for the Bealtaine fires – if you have it available.
Please keep aware of the risks of moving firewood. If you are more than 50 miles away or in an EAB quarantine area please do not bring your wood. Your hostess likes the trees in her yard and would like to keep them healthy.
